About Liam
Liam Calvert is a filmmaker from Leeds in the UK whose work explores identity, connection, and character-driven queer drama. With an MA in Film Production and background experience in assistant directing for major broadcasters like the BBC and Channel 4, he brings a grounded, craft-focused approach to storytelling. His debut feature A Night Like This premiered at BFI Flare and played around the world prior to its UK theatrical release. Currently based in Margate, Liam is developing his second feature while mentoring emerging talent.
